According to Adobe Analytics, Amazon Prime Day sales surpassed $11 billion, which was an increase of more than 6% compared to last year’s Prime Day held in October. Amazon itself said that the two-day event was the biggest sales period for third-party sellers in the company’s history. With 250 million products sold (1,500 every second) over the course of the 2 day event Prime Day has become a financial powerhouse for the online retailer.
