Back to School Spending
As brands and retailers struggle to get consumers to spend money, many of them are looking towards back to school spending to invigorate retail markets during this time of declining profits. A quarter of respondents plan to spend around $500 or more on back to school items while over half report that they will do that spending in person. With 73 millions students or around 23% of the us population above the age of 3 between elementary school and college this spending will be most important to retailers and brands who are looking to get a large boost before the holiday season.
